Get All Mondays in the Year

Get all mondays in the year

Just loop through the year instead of the month. The code is the same as yours, it works fine. just changed month -> year and getMonth() -> getYear()

var d = new Date(),
year = d.getYear(),
mondays = [];

d.setDate(1);

// Get the first Monday in the month
while (d.getDay() !== 1) {
d.setDate(d.getDate() + 1);
}

// Get all the other Mondays in the month
while (d.getYear() === year) {
var pushDate = new Date(d.getTime());
mondays.push(pushDate.getDate() + '-' + (pushDate.getMonth()+1) + '-' + pushDate.getFullYear());
d.setDate(d.getDate() + 7);
}

Getting all dates for Mondays and Tuesdays for the next year

This is an interesting one. Here's how I'd do it with functions, though it may warrant its own class to really be modular and reusable:

Set up my date formats and excluded dates
define('INTERNAL_FORMAT', 'Y-m-d');
define('DISPLAY_MONTH_FORMAT', 'M Y');
define('DISPLAY_DAY_FORMAT', 'D d M Y');
// format excluded dates as YYYY-MM-DD, date('Y-m-d'):
$excluded_dates = array(
'2010-03-09',
'2010-04-13',
);

Then I need some utility functions to see how the dates run, and what dates are excluded:

// date('w') returns a string numeral as follows:
// '0' Sunday
// '1' Monday
// '2' Tuesday
// '3' Wednesday
// '4' Thursday
// '5' Friday
// '6' Saturday
function isTuesday($date) {
return date('w', strtotime($date)) === '2';
}
function isWednesday($date) {
return date('w', strtotime($date)) === '3';
}

// handle the excluded dates
function isExcludedDate($internal_date) {
global $excluded_dates;
return in_array($internal_date, $excluded_dates);
}

Now we just need to iterate over every day of the next 365 (the next year) and check to see if they're Tuesday or Wednesday and not on the excluded list. We store this in $months_and_dates:

$start_date = date(INTERNAL_FORMAT);

// something to store months and days
$months_and_dates = array();

// loop over 365 days and look for tuesdays or wednesdays not in the excluded list
foreach(range(0,365) as $day) {
$internal_date = date(INTERNAL_FORMAT, strtotime("{$start_date} + {$day} days"));
$this_day = date(DISPLAY_DAY_FORMAT, strtotime($internal_date));
$this_month = date(DISPLAY_MONTH_FORMAT, strtotime($internal_date));
if ((isTuesday($internal_date) || isWednesday($internal_date))
&& !isExcludedDate($internal_date)) {
$months_and_dates[$this_month][] = $this_day;
}
}

You can print_r() it, or to get the display you want, we do this:

foreach($months_and_dates as $month => $days) {
print $month . "<br>";
print implode('<br>', $days);
print "<br>";
}

Moment.js - Get all mondays between a date range

You can get next Monday using .day(1) and then loop until your date isBefore your end date adding 7 days for each iteration using add

Here a live sample:

//let start = moment(this.absence.FromDate);//let end = moment(this.absence.ToDate);
// Test valueslet start = moment();let end = moment().add(45 , 'd');
var arr = [];// Get "next" mondaylet tmp = start.clone().day(1);if( tmp.isAfter(start, 'd') ){ arr.push(tmp.format('YYYY-MM-DD'));}while( tmp.isBefore(end) ){ tmp.add(7, 'days'); arr.push(tmp.format('YYYY-MM-DD'));}console.log(arr);

Need to get the dates of all mondays in a year

To get all mondays, by getting all dates and filtering by Mondays:

for i in `seq 0 365`
do date -d "+$i day"
done | grep Mon

Of course, you could also take a monday and keep incrementing by 7 days.

How to get all sundays/mondays/tuesdays between two dates?

Use a loop to continually get the date for next Sunday until you pass the ending date.

var start = moment('2016-09-01'), // Sept. 1st    end   = moment('2016-11-02'), // Nov. 2nd    day   = 0;                    // Sunday
var result = [];var current = start.clone();
while (current.day(7 + day).isBefore(end)) { result.push(current.clone());}
console.log(result.map(m => m.format('LLLL')));

Get All Monday Dates In Month using Moment,js

I've just read docs and haven't found any method that returns an array, so you need to do it only with loop

var monday = moment()
.startOf('month')
.day("Monday");
if (monday.date() > 7) monday.add(7,'d');
var month = monday.month();
while(month === monday.month()){
document.body.innerHTML += "<p>"+monday.toString()+"</p>";
monday.add(7,'d');
}
