How to delete an app which is waiting for upload?
Still, I can't see the delete button and I can't delete the application.
As the old app's binary version is not uploaded and reviewed, I just renamed that application and then used the name by creating a new one.
Apple accepts the name and the app is now in review.
How to remove an app that's waiting for review?
It's called Reject Binary: Reject binary with state waiting for review (can't find reject binary button)
In iTunes connect, from 'My apps', select
- Click your application, then
- Make sure you are on the 'Versions' tab, and that the correct version is selected.
- Click 'Remove this version from review' located in the info bubble...
Remove an app that hasn't been published on the App Store
Just leave it alone. If you don't submit a binary within 6 months, it will be deleted by Apple
How to Delete App from itunes connect, which is in Prepare For Submission Phase
Apple says
Apps that have not been approved yet can’t be deleted; instead, reject
the app. Apps must have at least one approved version before they can
be deleted.
One solution is to rename that application and then use the name by creating a new one. Apple accepts the name and the app will then be in review. Ref: How to delete an app which is waiting for upload?
Remove iOS app when the status is waiting for review
Just change the build.
Let's say your build is 2.0 , change it to 2.01 , archive this and upload again.
Remove app from Appstore and Upload new app with same name
Let's say your app is called Awesome
with current version v1.0.0
, I think you might try to follow these steps:
1) Rename your current live app in something like: Awesome App
2) as explained in the image, to be able to see the changes you have to release a new app version, let's do it with v1.0.1
3) wait for approval, then as soon as it's on the store, submit for the first time the new app (with a new bundle identifier and so on) called Awesome
.
4) finally you should remove from the store Awesome App
.
Re-upload app which is in Waiting for upload status
I do not think you have successfully uploaded your app. Try to upload it again.
If your upload is successful, it should be changed to Upload Received and then shortly it should be changed to Waiting For Review.
Take a look at iTunes Connect Developer Guide: Managing Your Apps for the list of possible status. And if your app status is still waiting for upload, it means:
Appears when you’ve completed entering your metadata and indicated
that you are ready to submit your binary, however, you have not
finished uploading your binary through Application Loader. Your app
must be Waiting For Upload for you to be able to deliver your binary
through Application Loader.
