Run script with rc.local: script works, but not at boot
I ended up with upstart, which works fine.
bash script in rc.local different result than executing it in terminal
All commands from rc.local are getting executed by user root.
To execute them from a different user use:
sudo su USERNAME -c 'SCRIPT/PATH'
Run python script from rc.local does not execute
The Python script tries to launch ./sbt
. Are you sure of what if the current directory when rc.local
runs? The rule is always use absolute paths in system scripts
