Can't scale device window in iOS Simulator

The options will only be there if your screen is not large enough to show the window at 100%.

Just resize up the simulator window dragging until the size reaches a size greater than or equal the original size, this worked for me.

You can't have 1:1 ratio.

However you can scale it from the iOS Simulator > Window > Scale menu.

In Xcode 9.1, go to Simulator Menu > Debug > Optimize Rendering for Window Scale.
disable this option, now the screenshots will be in the right size (resolution).

You should try cmd 2 or cmd 3 on your keyboard to scale down.

And cmd 1 to get back to the original scale.

Looks like iOS simulator started scaling screenshots. Just check its real size if you are using iOS simulator with non-100% scale.

Finally, I got the reason why this bug appears at work and not at home :)

Because at work I don't have external display (monitor), but at home (DELL, non-retina off course)

If you want this bug not to appear, just connect your macbook to external non-retina monitor. Then you may work fine, run simulator in macbook retina display, also in external monitor display, while Apple hard works to fix this bug in OS X.
