As per the documentation,

Your app version will then be live on the store pending the customary processing times. The delay is due to propagating your application's status across their all iTunes servers. This process usually takes different time for different servers. But, it'll be available within a day.

Yes, after your app gets Status Ready for Sale it might take some time for after that the app will be visible as search result. Totally depends on Apple as The delay is due to propagating your application's status across their all iTunes app stores servers. it will take maximun a day.

This is what i learnt from somewhere want to share as Apple cache the data that will shows in the search result on iTunes App store. So I think this will take couple of hours for their caches to be updated.

App ready for sale but not available in app store

Please check the availability date of your app in the Pricing section. It might not have been set to 31 july 2015. If it is then sometimes after your app gets Ready for Sale it might take some time before it actually shows up in searches.

Ready for sale app cannot be found without iTunes connect

You can try a simple trick - go back to app description, make a simple edition and save. I tried it after waiting more than 24 hours and in AppStore there was still available the old version of my app. After that, the new app's version became visible within an hour.
