Place a button right aligned
Which alignment technique you use depends on your circumstances but the basic one is float: right;
:
<input type="button" value="Click Me" style="float: right;">
You'll probably want to clear your floats though but that can be done with overflow:hidden
on the parent container or an explicit <div style="clear: both;"></div>
at the bottom of the container.
For example: http://jsfiddle.net/ambiguous/8UvVg/
Floated elements are removed from the normal document flow so they can overflow their parent's boundary and mess up the parent's height, the clear:both
CSS takes care of that (as does overflow:hidden
). Play around with the JSFiddle example I added to see how floating and clearing behave (you'll want to drop the overflow:hidden
first though).
Align button to the right
Bootstrap 4 uses .float-right
as opposed to .pull-right
in Bootstrap 3. Also, don't forget to properly nest your rows with columns.
<div class="row">
<div class="col-lg-12">
<h3 class="one">Text</h3>
<button class="btn btn-secondary float-right">Button</button>
</div>
</div>
How to align button right in a flex container?
Floats do not work in a flex container
Use align-self:flex-end
instead
.faq {
padding: 12px 20px;
display: block;
box-sizing: border-box;
width: 50%;
margin: auto;
margin-top: 30px;
}
.outerDiv {
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
justify-content: center;
align-items: center;
text-align: center;
margin-top: 20px;
background-color: yellow;
}
.save {
align-self:flex-end;
background-color: red;
}
<div class="outerDiv">
<h2>New FAQ</h2>
<input type="text" class="faq">
<br>
<button class="save" mat-raised-button color="primary">Primary</button>
</div>
How to align button left and right in the same line?
Use float css rule
.f-l {
float: left;
}
.f-r {
float: right;
}
<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/bootstrap@5.1.0/dist/js/bootstrap.bundle.min.js"></script>
<link href="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/bootstrap@5.1.0/dist/css/bootstrap.min.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
<div class="col-md-12 text-left f-l">
<button type="button" id="pre_button" class="btn btn-md btn-primary ml-2 button-icon rounded-small" data-toggle="tooltip" data-placement="top" title="previous" >Previous</button>
</div>
<div class="col-md-12 text-right f-r">
<button type="button" id="next_button" class="btn btn-md btn-primary ml-2 button-icon rounded-small" data-toggle="tooltip" data-placement="top" title="Next" >Next</button>
</div>
Align Buttons Right
Use this
.button-parent {
text-align: right;
}
button {
display: inline-block;
}
or if you want to make it position absolutely, you can use this
.add-me {
position: absolute;
right: 20px;
}
align button right reactjs
You need to add display flex to the parent element of your Button.
See sandbox here for example: https://codesandbox.io/s/testproviderconsumer-klcsr
class App extends React.Component {
render() {
return (
<div style={{ display: "flex" }}>
<button
style={{ marginLeft: "auto" }}
>
Click
</button>
</div>
);
}
}
{{display: 'flex', justifyContent: 'flex-end'}}
are defined in the parent element to align items in the child element.
