Android Studio on a hardware that does not support virtualization technology
You'll have to run the ARM system images, which unfortunately will be super-slow, but it will work. As of now, you can't run x86 system images on an x86 platform at all without KVM. This will be true of anyone running an AMD processor; HAXM is Intel-specific.
You can also try the Genymotion emulator, which works on many platforms that can't run HAXM.
Intel HAXM installation error - This computer does not support Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x)
Just follows these steps:
- Go to Control Panel → Program and Feature.
- Click on Turn Window Features on and off. A window opens.
- Uncheck Hyper-V and Windows Hypervisor Platform options and restart your system.
Now, you can Start HAXM installation without any error.
Running Android emulator on intel machine
That CPU (from early 2009) does not support virtualization, so you will need to use a software enhancer - like genymotion.
android studio set up is not working
In this case you can download and use ARM images
that do not need hardware virtualization instead of using x86 system images
. Need to tell you that ARM images will be very slow compared to x86 images.
You can download ARM image
of respective APIs by selecting this option.
