Lost the IntelliSense in SQL Server Management Studio
You probably needed to refresh it. Either
- Go to Edit -> IntelliSense -> Refresh Local Cache
- Use
Ctrl+Shift+R

Or please try these steps as below:
- Enable IntelliSense:
- For all query windows, please go to Tools >> Options >> Text Editor >> Transact-SQL >> IntelliSense, and select Enable IntelliSense.
- For each opening query window, please go to Query >> Intellisense Enabled.
- Enable statement completion: please go to Tools >> Options >> Text
Editor >> Transact-SQL >> General, and check on Auto list members and
Parameter information boxes. - Refresh IntelliSense local cache: please go to >> Edit >>
IntelliSense >>Refresh Local Cache or use the CTRL+Shift+R keyboard
shortcut to refresh. - Wait a minute or two for the Refresh to finish before trying again.

Why is SQL Server 2008 Management Studio Intellisense not working?
I understand this post is old but if anybody is still searching and has not found a solution to the intellisense issue even after re-installing, applying the cumulative updates, or other methods, then I hope I may be of assistance.
I have Applied SQL 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 which you can download here

SSMS Intellisense works for some schema and does not work for other
Just as a hit and trial under following menu item,
Tools > Options > Text Editor > Intellisense
I changed Maximum script size from 1 MB to Unlimited. And it worked like a charm.

Have you just created them? Intellisense data used by it is cached. Try to refresh it

SQL Server 2008 R2 intellisense not working
First of all - intellisense in SQL Server Management Studio 2008 and newer only works against databases that are also 2008 or newer - it will not work against a 2005 database.
Next - have you made sure intellisense is enabled in SSMS ?
Then - if it is enabled - sometimes it helps to refresh the local cache:
