Convert seconds value to hours minutes seconds?
You should have more luck with
hours = roundThreeCalc.divide(var3600, BigDecimal.ROUND_FLOOR);
myremainder = roundThreeCalc.remainder(var3600);
minutes = myremainder.divide(var60, BigDecimal.ROUND_FLOOR);
seconds = myremainder.remainder(var60);
This will drop the decimal values after each division.
Edit: If that didn't work, try this. (I just wrote and tested it)
public static int[] splitToComponentTimes(BigDecimal biggy)
{
long longVal = biggy.longValue();
int hours = (int) longVal / 3600;
int remainder = (int) longVal - hours * 3600;
int mins = remainder / 60;
remainder = remainder - mins * 60;
int secs = remainder;
int[] ints = {hours , mins , secs};
return ints;
}
How do I convert seconds to hours, minutes and seconds?
You can use datetime.timedelta
function:
>>> import datetime
>>> str(datetime.timedelta(seconds=666))
'0:11:06'
Convert seconds to Hour:Minute:Second
You can use the gmdate()
function:
echo gmdate("H:i:s", 685);
How to convert seconds to minutes and hours in javascript
I think you would find this solution very helpful.
You modify the display format to fit your needs with something like this -
function secondsToHms(d) {
d = Number(d);
var h = Math.floor(d / 3600);
var m = Math.floor(d % 3600 / 60);
var s = Math.floor(d % 3600 % 60);
var hDisplay = h > 0 ? h + (h == 1 ? " hour, " : " hours, ") : "";
var mDisplay = m > 0 ? m + (m == 1 ? " minute, " : " minutes, ") : "";
var sDisplay = s > 0 ? s + (s == 1 ? " second" : " seconds") : "";
return hDisplay + mDisplay + sDisplay;
}
Converting seconds to hours and minutes and seconds
Try this out instead, tested and works:
int seconds, hours, minutes;
cin >> seconds;
minutes = seconds / 60;
hours = minutes / 60;
cout << seconds << " seconds is equivalent to " << int(hours) << " hours " << int(minutes%60)
<< " minutes " << int(seconds%60) << " seconds.";
Because minutes is seconds/60, dividing it by 60 again is equivalent to diving seconds by 3600, which is why it works.
Converting seconds into days, hours, minutes & seconds in Python
It looks like you're trying to do something like:
result = "time in minutes is"
if days >0:
result += f" {days} days"
if hours > 0:
result += f" {hours} hours"
if mins > 0:
result += f" {mins} minutes"
if secs > 0:
result += f" {secs} seconds"
How can I convert seconds into (Hour:Minutes:Seconds:Milliseconds) time?
For .Net <= 4.0 Use the TimeSpan class.
TimeSpan t = TimeSpan.FromSeconds( secs );
string answer = string.Format("{0:D2}h:{1:D2}m:{2:D2}s:{3:D3}ms",
t.Hours,
t.Minutes,
t.Seconds,
t.Milliseconds);
(As noted by Inder Kumar Rathore) For .NET > 4.0 you can use
TimeSpan time = TimeSpan.FromSeconds(seconds);
//here backslash is must to tell that colon is
//not the part of format, it just a character that we want in output
string str = time .ToString(@"hh\:mm\:ss\:fff");
(From Nick Molyneux) Ensure that seconds is less than TimeSpan.MaxValue.TotalSeconds
to avoid an exception.
