Android Studio - Failed to Find Target Android-18

Android studio - Failed to find target android-18

I think you might not have the Android-18 sdk installed. Go to Tools > Android > SDK Manager and check to see if Android 4.3 (API 18) is installed.

Android Studio Resolve error. failed to find target android-18

Android Studio comes bundled with its own SDK, which may not have the same Android API targets you used to create the project in Eclipse. You can either add the APIs to Android Studio's SDK by clicking on the SDK Manager toolbar icon in Android Studio if you have a project open, or if you don't, from the Welcome screen choose Configure > SDK Manager, or you can tell Android Studio to use the same SDK you were using from Eclipse: Project Structure > Android SDK if you have a project open, or Welcome > Configure > Project Defaults > Project Structure > Android SDK if you don't.

Failed to find target with hash string 'android-25'

You don't need to update anything. Just download the SDK for API 25 from Android SDK Manager or by launching Android standalone SDK manager. The error is for missing platform and not for missing tool.Android SDK Manager Android Studio 2.2.2

Unable to resolve target 'android-18' error

In ``default.properties` file .

set target=android-18.

Check also that you installed this API level and check it in properties window, like:

In my case 17 is selected
