Had the same problem yesterday. Now, after signing to the developer portal, for every invalid provisioning profile have a button "Renew". After renewing and downloading updated provisioning profile all seems to work as expected, so problem is definitely solved :)

Update: you may have to contact Apple to get a "Renew"-button, or they removed it -- and the solution is to just download it and add it to the keychain, no need to renew.

Getting A valid signing identity matching this profile could not be found in your keychain warning

It sounds like you don't have a development certificate in your keychain that matches one of your provisioning profiles.

Make sure that you have the dev cert and you have matching provisioning profiles. Also, if your app is using the keychain, make sure to include an Entitlements.plist (containing your app id, so your apps can share a "slice" of the keychain) in your project.

Delete all your private and public keys. Create one new one by using the assistant to request a certificate...

Before you do anything else name the key by double clicking on it and typign a name that identifies it as the one key you will keep.

Delete all others.

Provisioning Profile 'Valid signing identity not found' error

The .p12 file associated with your provisioning profile is not found in your system keychain.

Check the below few things!

• Make sure you have enabled the correct certificate while generating the provisioning profile in the apple developer site.
• Check if you have any duplicates of the your certificate & private key more than once in your keychain access.
• If you do not have the .p12 corresponding to the provisioning profile, Get it exported from the mac system on which it was created & install it in your mac system.

iOS Provisioning profile: Valid signing identity not found

Fixed it by deleting all development certificates in iOS dev centre (even my iOS development certificate) and recreating new ones from beginning. I had 2 iOS development certificates and I think Xcode was confused about which to use. This happened because I have revoked my development certificate from another machine and thus creating a new one. Somehow it ended up in two developer certificates managed by xcode. Since then i have'n tested any app on device and so though that was the problem.

You will have to do an export - import from your old mac.

Export:

1. In the XCode Organizer, select your team in the Teams section.
2. Click Export.
3. Specify a filename and a password, and click Save.`

The file produced contains the items you need to code sign apps, including the provisioning profiles, certificates, and private keys needed to install apps in development on a device.

Import:

1. In the XCode Organizer, select your team in the Teams section.
2. Click Import.
3. Select the file containing your code signing assets.
4. Enter the password for the file, and click Open.

(If you don’t see the Team section in the devices organizer:Drag the password-protected file that contains your code signing assets to the Xcode icon in the Dock.)

Xcode 4 - Valid signing identity not found error on provisioning profiles on a new Macintosh install

With Xcode 4.2 and later versions, including Xcode 4.6, there is a better way to migrate your entire developer profile to a new machine. On your existing machine, launch Xcode and do this:

1. Open the Organizer (Shift-Command-2).
2. Select the Devices tab.
3. Choose Developer Profile in the upper-left corner under LIBRARY, which may be under the heading library or under a heading called TEAMS.
4. Choose Export near the bottom left side of
   the window. Xcode asks you to choose a file name and password.

Edit for Xcode 4.4:

With Xcode 4.4, at step 3 choose Provisioning Profiles under LIBRARY. Then select your provisioning profiles either with the mouse or Command-A.

Also, Apple is making improvements in the way they manage this aspect of Xcode, and some users have reported that the Refresh button in the lower-right corner does the trick. So try clicking Refresh first, and if that doesn't help, do the export/import sequence.

Edit for Xcode 5.0 or newer:

1. Open Xcode -> Preferences ('Command' + ',')
2. Select the Apple ID from the list.
3. Click on the SETTING icon near the bottom-left corner of window, and choose EXPORT ACCOUNTS... Xcode asks you to choose a file name and password.

On your new machine, launch Xcode and import the profile you exported above. Works like a charm.
