Only Some Glyphicons Showing in Ie

Only some glyphicons showing in IE

I have found the solution. It was quite simple. Unfortunately I won't be able to use Glyphicons.

IE have a setting to restrict font download. This is enabled by group policy and cannot be changed on standard workstations. I have been able to recreate the same behavior on my own laptop by restricting font download.

Se this article for further explanation:

bootstrap 3.2.0 glyphicons are not displaying in internet explorer

Ok, solved the Problem by myself.

The Problem was, that somehow my IE went in a certain security state, in which the font download was disabled.

So I changed the Custom level of the "protected Mode" - you can find that in the Security Tab of the Internet Options Menu.

After you click on the "Custom level..." Button you have to search for "font download" and change it to "enable".

Thanks for your help anyone!

Bootstrap glyphicons not displaying in Windows 10 in IE11

My manager found the solution to this problem. Turns out in Windows 10, there is a new policy that blocks 'untrusted fonts'. If this is enabled it will block IE from downloading new fonts. We also had issue of this blocking icons from appearing on Office 365. Here is the article explaining the issue and how to resolve it: https://jprudente.wordpress.com/2016/02/02/ie11-on-windows-10-not-displaying-certain-graphics/

Glyphicons and other icon fonts don't show up in Internet Explorer after page refresh

This appears to be fixed, as of /rev/353fe835. While not sending the proper MIME type was indeed a problem, it didn't appear to be the problem.

Instead, the issue appeared to be the no-cache headers. When not allowing cache, IE was not displaying those glyph icons in certain cases. Related posts: 1, 2, and 3.
