Why my App is not showing up on tablets in Google Play?

At last adding a special case for Nexus 7 with in <compatible-screens> tag worked for me. As Nexus 7 has tvdpi density

UPDATE:

For xxhdpi devices you can use 480 as an int value

Android App is not showing for a tablet on Google play store

So the issue was in permissions

<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION" />

There require GPS hardware features and because of this app was not showing up on playstore for my tablet (it does not have GPS). However there dependency on GPS as location can be obtained from Wifi network as well. So adding following to manifest file resolved the issue

Updating the same apk on playstore showed following (GPS feature removed)

I belive the key is in your permissions. By saying that your app uses RECEIVE_SMS and READ_PHONE_STATE Google Play uses that to filter out devices that can't do those things (tablets) because it thinks that your app needs to use those permissions in order to work. According to the android developer site:

To prevent those apps from being made available unintentionally, Google Play assumes that certain hardware-related permissions indicate that the underlying hardware features are required by default. For instance, applications that use Bluetooth must request the BLUETOOTH permission in a element — for legacy apps, Google Play assumes that the permission declaration means that the underlying android.hardware.bluetooth feature is required by the application and sets up filtering based on that feature.

Also, look at this:

You have RECEIVE_SMS and READ_PHONE_STATE so you automatically have android.hardware.telephony. You can fix this by doing

Android app not showing up in play store on some devices

check your manifest file contain support screens all screens value true like below code:

        android:normalScreens="true"
        android:largeScreens="true"
        android:resizeable="true"
        />

My app is not available for tablet device on Google play

The value is true if the "android:largeScreens" not declare in manifest.
Do you use any other features? For example, making a phone call.

You may add this pair of statement to your manifest, it do not force the device support telephony. However, you may need to check whether the user can use that “calling” function in your activity, if they are using a device that do not support.
