Configuring Tomat's Server.Xml File with Auto Generating Mod_Jk.Conf

configuring tomat's server.xml file with auto generating mod_jk.conf

Well here's your answer - go with a static mod_jk.conf file.

Tomcat user list archive

The tomcat developers considered this ApacheConfig auto-generation functionality not to be good enough for production, and in tomcat 7, it was removed. Presumably the issue was too complex and not high enough priority.

Why I can't deploy on Tomcat? Could not publish server configuration for Tomcat v7.0 Server at localhost. Multiple Contexts have a path of /ROOT?

Go to your tomcat folder and /conf and server.xml, check if there are multiple "Context" definitions and remove the duplicates.

httpd AND Tomcat with mod_jk on Port 80 test fails

The problem was with the apache distribution which I had downloaded from : http://www.apachehaus.com/cgi-bin/download.plx . The version was Apache 2.4.10 . I installed everything from the official site of appache and everything worked like a charm :)
