Info.Plist Utility Error: "Info.Plist Couldn't Be Opened Because There Is No Such File"

Info.plist Utility Error: Info.plist couldn't be opened because there is no such file

The solution for this particular instance of the error was “Info.plist couldn't be opened because there is no such file” was that I had deleted all of the files in the "Project Tests" folder, but was still had "Project Tests" listed under my targets. After deleting the "tests" target, the project built successfully.

Xcode can't open Info.plist -- error says there is no such file

That the file exists in your Xcode project folder isn't enough. Have you verified the file is properly referenced in your application target's build settings so it's properly copied into the app bundle? It's not quite the same as a standard resource (ie, it's not made a member of the target in the set of target membership check boxes) but rather a build setting because of its importance in a properly-formatted bundle.

Navigate to the project (select it in the Project navigator), select the application target in the list of targets, then click the Build Settings tab. Under the Packaging section, make sure the "Info.plist File" is properly set to the location/file name.

the file 'info.plist' could not be opened because there is no such file

Xcode isn't a direct representation of what files are present in the folder. It shows what files are associated with the project. Go to your actual folder for the project and you will probably find that the file is missing. If you haven't emptied your trash, it could be there. It could have also been accidentally moved in which case you can search for it.

Info.plist file no such file error

Remove MyApp/ portion from build settings. plist file usually is located in the same folder ad project. You can always open project file in vi and edit it manually.

Upgraded to Xcode 6 Beta 7 and now getting: the file info.plist couldn't be opened because there is no such file

If you look in the expanded error messages the first item shows that it is looking for the plist file in:

.../Swift-Sample-App-master/Swift-Sample-App/Swift-Sample-App/SWXMLHash/Info.pl‌ist

It looks like you re-organized the files and did not change the location of the Build Settings.
